Tom has been a training expert for more than 20 years. The knowledge included in the Safety First Consulting training modules was developed from these two decades of experience. He holds a BS in Occupational Safety and a MS in Homeland Security and Emergency Management from Eastern Kentucky University. Tom has worked as an explosives engineer, heavy equipment operator and supervisor in surface mining. Much of his experience has derived from his time in the mining and construction industries. Safety First Consulting was created in dedication to ensuring the skill and safety of today’s employees and miners.
